Biennale Gherdëina Dolomites

The fourth Biennale Gherdëina, coming up in Ortisei, presents some important new developments in 2014, starting with the title of the event: "Legno/Wood/Lën". Curator Luca Beatrice selected five artists to work solely with this material, the best expression of the cultural and creative traditions of the Val Gardena. In the months leading up to the exhibition, which will open on July 18th and continue until early October in the pedestrian district in central Ortisei, the artists will be working with local businesses and craftspeople on wooden sculptures and installations of great artistic value.
